August 2020 – AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. has been awarded the Self Defense Test Ship (SDTS) Program indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide engineering and technical support services for operations, maintenance and repairs in support of the Self Defense Test Ship (SDTS) Program. The SDTS Program consists of both the SDTS and Test Ship Remote Control System (TSRCS). The TSRCS provides the remote capability for the SDTS to operate in an unmanned capacity at sea in support of high-risk live-fire Test and Evaluation (T&E) events.
The issuing agency Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, Division (PHD) awarded the Base plus four year option contract under AdvantEdge prime MAC Seaport-NxG as a small business set aside. This will be the twelfth year AdvantEdge has provided support to the SDTS Program.
